Which lift floor materials are available?
Natural marble and granite, premium PVC, custom metal floors, geometric inlays and terrazzo — chosen to the building's traffic and taste.
Marble or PVC?
Marble and granite bring luxury and durability to premium lobbies; PVC is lighter, easier to maintain and suits busy sites and lifts with limited spare load.
Does the floor's weight affect the lift's capacity?
Yes — so the floor's weight is counted within the cabin's rated load, and thickness and material are chosen to keep the certified capacity.
Can the floor of an existing lift be replaced?
Yes. We replace the floor of any existing lift, levelling it with the sill and edges to avoid trip hazards.
Is the floor slip-resistant?
We choose slip-resistant surfaces suited to public use; a textured finish or metal edging can be added where the site requires it.
